Oh! How Lucky We Are

Earlier this year, hometown favourites (and all round nice guys) A Horse and his Boy captured CHRW's 2009 Local Album of the Year. (Their excellent, self-titled release entirely worthy of this accolade.) Come out tomorrow night to celebrate this with A Horse and his Boy and top ten nominees Bryan Pole and Light of East Ensemble. This show will be a wonderful mix for a great evening of music and entertainment. In between sets, witness the MAGICAL MYSTERY of Mr. Eman as he wows the crowd with his magic talents.

Tickets are $5 in advance ($7 at the door) available at Grooves Records, 94.9 CHRW studios in Room 250 UCC on UWO's campus OR Infosource in the UCC on UWO's campus or the London Music Club. Catch CHRW in the UCC atrium, selling tickets up until Wednesday!

Be sure to come out to support these great local artists and enjoy this great live venue- the London Music Club, Wednesday March 31st. The event is licensed and all ages, doors open at 7:30 pm!

As well, the good people at the Open House Arts Collective have just announced the second annual Oh! Fest, running from Thursday April 22nd to Saturday April 24th. Oh! how lucky we are in this city… To see talent like the Acorn, Olenka and Autumn Lovers, $100, A Horse and his Boy and many more performing here in the Forest City. DO NOT miss this one. (More details will be provided when they become available.)

Oh! A new look! It's brill. Well done. Lots of things to distract me with!

I like the ticked boxes above the comments, too. I look forward to clicking the WTF? one. ;)

I want to make a new header for my blog, made up of different Polaroids. However, Photoshop is just not playing nice. Need a proper version of it.

Enjoy Oh! Fest. Sounds like a lot of fun. :)

All these concerts you people get to attend fills my soul with the bitter bile of jealousy, I tell you.

On a lighter note, I love the new layout! It's fabulous. So. Much. Shiny. Stuff. To. Click. On. Is this from the new blogger template draft thing?

Allison - Well thank you Allison; pleased to hear you like the new look. It was way overdue believe me. I see you've been doing some experimenting on your site as well. Hope Photoshop starts behaving for you... It must be hellish for you at times back in the Windows world.

BAP - These shows are open to anyone, so jealousy aside, hop on a plane and you could be hear in no time. Promise to save you a good seat okay? I know people ;)
