Billboard reports that Paul Westerberg has become Glen Campbell’s new Jimmy Webb. ‘Webbsterberg’ is just one of the people Glen Campbell has collaborated with on his upcoming album entitled Ghost on the Canvas.Astute readers will note that this is one of the tracks that appeared on the 6-song EP Paul released through Amazon.com last fall. In 2008, Campbell released Meet Glen Campbell, a covers album that included the Replacement’s "Sadly Beautiful". Campbell didn’t stop with Westerberg on his latest though; Others on the album include (among others): Jakob Dylan, Chris Isaak, members of the Dandy Warhols and the supremely prolific Robert Pollard.


The album's release date is pending a label deal however Campbell will tour for the new release- booking multiple theatre and small hall shows in selected cities.  (Details will be posted when they become available.)
