LOLAFest This Weekend in London

As promised the schedule of bands and musicians that will be appearing for the music portion of LOLAFest this weekend. From September 18th to the 21st my fair city will be playing host to a significant cultural happening. Plan to attend LOLAFest 2008, I can guarantee a splendid time. For the price of a small donation (your choosing) it might just be the music event of the year in this city.

Stay tuned here for full LOLAFest coverage.

Just for a donation? Oooooo wish I was in London this weekend. You don't know how long I have been trying to see Hylozoists. And I would kill to see Holy Fuck.

That's EXACTLY how I felt as you prepared for your Sled Island adventure! No worry though Barb, I will endeavour to provide competent coverage for you. Weekend weather is promising to be glorious. I'll certainly be making the most of it. I am not one to let summer go without a lot of kicking and screaming.

Hylozoists are sublime in person and I am really looking forward to seeing Holy Fuck for the first time. I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures.

Such a great lineup. I hope to see Holy Fuck, and am torn between Do Make Say Think and Woodhands and other stuff going on that night.

Ola Phronk,

You have to go see Plants and Animals too. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

I am looking forward to the Drift tonight too.

Have fun at LOLA!

Cheers,

See, frankly, I'm a little disappointed with the line-up... I thought last year was great. This year, I'm not sure there's as much stuff that I'd be interested in...

and where are Shad and Basia?
