CHRW FM 94.9 (Radio Western), the volunteer radio station of the University of Western Ontario in London, has begun its annual Funding Drive and they need your help. London’s BEST independent radio station wants to upgrade their transmitter and your donations to that end would be greatly appreciated.

CHRW, Radio Western’s origins date back to 1959 and have been broadcasting independently and full time since 1980. They are an important part of this community as well as the national university and college radio communities. I urge you to make a donation to this worthy cause. We used to listen to CHRW back in the day, on Friday nights. The spousal unit is a blues fan and they used to have a blues show on then.
I hope they do well with their fundraiser.
I hope they do well too Barb. CHRW is my musical saviour in this city. Radio (save for the mighty RW) is dreadful downright God awful in fact.
And yes the Blues show continues. Lots of specialty programming. I just wish I had the time to resurrect the old show I had when I was in High School. Perhaps someday...
