On the Road Again - Neil Young Takes Death Cab For Cutie, Wilco Along for the Ride

Legendary singer, political activist, enviro-car developer, snappy hat wearer Neil Young is hitting the road once again in North America in support of his Chrome Dreams II release. This time out he's called upon Death Cab For Cutie, Wilco and Everest for opening support. The bands will split the tour, with Death Cab taking the first leg, and intrepid road warriors Wilco the second and Everest for all. It all kicks off in mid-October and if the setlists from this summer are any indication, this one should not be missed. With plenty of Canadian dates you won't have any excuse.

Wow, when you get acts like Death Cab and Wilco as openers, I think you can officially consider yourself a big deal.

I love that video for Reckoner, I can see why Radiohead chose it as the official video of the contest. And I am always more than happy to see my girl, Lykke - thanks.

Neil always picks the most interesting opening acts Barbara. Past openers include Oasis, Tegan and Sarah, Sonic Youth... Some pretty diverse music there. Neil will remain PERPETUALLY ahead of his time I think.

And that Radiohead video is terrific. All of the videos and remixes that have emerged have been so creative and so good on Radiohead for letting it all flow. Glad you liked the Lykke video too. Those are some awesome dance moves on that girl. Loved the back up from Bon Iver too.
