PLAYLIST 26 - Rainy Days and Mondays Always Get Me Down

One of those days indeed... Then again, if I'm not bitching about the cold, I'll surely be whining about the rain. Oh, and then there's the heat. Don't get me started. Tis' my Canadian perogative, where weather rules supreme and singularly keeps my bloodstream "a coursin'" with Extra Strength Tylenol.

Never one to pass up an opportunity for the perfect precipitation playlist. (With apologies to Karen Carpenter.)

Rain makes me feel alive. I think that's why I took to England so.

Its -25 sign of spring. :(

We're having the same weather as Allison is and I would give my right arm for some nice warm rain now.

I notice there is only one Monday song on the list. Interesting. As though that was all the time that Monday deserves or something.

Allison- I am a fan of rain co-mingled with a perfect thunderstorm. Certainly not a fan of the Noah's Ark like deluge we received in this city over the weekend. But yes you are right, rain is life and rain cleanses. It apparently functions as the meteorological muse for some of our favourite pop stars.

Barbara - The operative word is "warm" Barbara... Not exactly a warm rain yet. In fact it's back to sub-zero as I type this.

And right you are with the Monday thing. That was exactly my intention. Monday's have truly never been my favourite day... Hence the short shrift. Perhaps I'll try a playlist on Thursdays soon. Now that's a day to get behind! :)

My parents' basement doesn't appreciate the flooding rain either.

Awesome list, but no love for Garbage or Tay Zonday? :)
