Random Post of the Day

Sometimes it’s important to sit back and laugh at the little things. The goofy things...

Sometimes it takes an eleven year old to remind us of those things.

Juvenile and perfect, you keep me laughing. You make my day, every day.

Thank you Jack, for reminding me to stop and laugh. Now quit kicking my ass in Guitar Hero III. Everyone else? Be 11 for a while today.

Awww. What an adorable goofball.

Hey I enjoyed your Dodos video--spread the news that they rock! I knew of them when they were just some dudes that hung out at my friend Andy's house and occasionally played tiny gigs around town.

I missed DeVotchka to stay in Portland an extra day, but would've loved to catch them at your suggestion! Could've seen Stars of the Lid in Portland but missed them too. I'm guess I'm just a lazy concert-goer these days ):

I need a new eleven year old. Mine is turning twenty-one next week.

What a delightful photo, and an equally delightful sentiment! Jack sounds like quite the lad.

For the record, I am waay too in touch with my inner 11 year old boy.

Hello Amity,

Don't worry I'll keep you informed on the upcoming 'must see' shows. We definitely can't see them all... A trip to Portland would be a lot more fun anyway. I have not been there in years. I would love to hear about your adventures.

I kinda figured you would pick up on the Dodo's clip. Their new record is great. I'm impressed with your musical connection. Speaking of which I had a nice little conversation with Brian from Stars of the Lid the other night. What a super nice guy. Fantastic show too.

Hello Beth,

They grow up so fast. I have to admit though, I was quite proud to hear him singing a Mountain Goats song to himself the other day...

Hello Barbara,

He is my "noble fruitcake". We have a lot of fun, a lot of frustrations. I just have to remember to keep my inner 11 year old active. Glad to hear you don't have any problems with that yourself.
